SecondRavens Training [1.0]
Well people I just got finished MEPS and I have some good news and bad news. The good news is that im leaving for bootcamp on the 19th on May. The bad news is that the dumb ass vision person at MEPS classified me as Green/Red colorblind! Me being red/green color blind is bullshit and I cant change it until I get in the army and have an army doctor re check me.
With that said I am stuck doing a paper-pushing job for 1 year and 32 weeks until my reenlistment (I got a really short reenlistment so I can get a new MOS after I prove Im not red/green color blind). Im thinking if they still say Im red/green color blind then ill go 91d or something in MI; if I am not red/green colorblind its off to my original plan of going Ranger/SF. I still get to go Airborne nevertheless after AIT so I will get to have some fun in training
Side notes: While I was at the hotel I meet some really cool guys, yet some of them had the idea that it was a good idea to get drunk as hell so that made it even more of a interesting time. One thing we did do is go down the local gas station and get a pack or two of cigars and made a toast to getting in the service; All I know is I had some sour apple cigar and it wasnt half bad.
Furthermore I will be at fort Jackson so if any of you want to write me then I would be more then happy to write back.
