But I have to ask everyone here, and I want you guys to answer in the most honest, non fanboy way:

Is Planetside worth coming back to?

I've seen some recent screenshots, and the population doesn't seem nearly as high as when I was playing. Have I just seen some bad screenies, or are there really only 20v20 battles going on? When I quit, I saw some 75v75 and even 120v120....do those even exist anymore?

I'm in a real pickle, I love planetside, but small battles are so boring, are the big battles still out there? (Doesn't matter which server, i'm just talking in general)

Big battles are still around. Aside from the middle of the night, there's always at least one planet pop-locked. If you ask me, I say come back. I played from release until August of '03 and had to quit(went broke). I had the urge to come back every week until two months ago when I finally did return to PlanetSide. I'd say rejoin. You'll save yourself a lot of personal grief.

Haha, yeah, for the past 5 months i've been killing myself, begging myself, saying "It's Planetside! Life can be put on hold for Planetside!" I finally have saved up enough money to play for a couple more months, (Just in time for my shiny 2 year badge!)

There's still big battles on every server. I do believe the poplock is set at 133, so you'll see plenty of 3 way 133-133-133 battles. They're all stalemates but they're fun :D.
