Now all you need is a 6.1 speaker set.

Very cool!

I had the same sound card on my old PC and have an Xgamer on my new pc, and I never realized how much difference a good sound card makes.

What kind of headset did you get?

Mmmmm upgrades, congrats!

I was using this really crappy combo buy thing I got from comp USA, but my new comp has integrated 6.1 that sounds frikking amazing. It really does make a difference. I never understood why they would rate sound equally with graphics in reviews. I do now. Way to go Vic. Weren't you planning on a system upgrade sometime soon?

Just a quick tip Navaron, using a intregated soundchipset for 6.1 surroundsound is a major hog on your CPU... not a good idea. Better to use a Audigy2, i got one and they ROCK! get used to surroundsound so fast =)

Nope, I had heard that, but this chip uses just under 3.8% of the processor. With this much processor I don't even feel it. I might upgrade late next year to an actual sound card, but it won't be soon. Thanks though.

Whatchipset is it?

Never heard of a chipset that has built in 6.1 surround and uses under 4% of the cpu power to create surround sound.
