Any of you own one or have any bike of your own? I'm debating to myself whether to get a bike now or just get a car (in a year) to get around this freakin mountain.

I ride like everyweek at my friends house cause he's a *** that sells iPods for jacked up prices on ebay that owns 2 dirtbikes (he's bought 3 in the past year off of ebay).

But on the other hand just alittle guiadance for what I should look for, I don't really like 100's just because they are puny for me. Fun to ride but just tiny, my knee's almost go past the handelbars.

If you got suggestions i'd love to hear em. Thanks. :)

I'v had two for about 9 years. Don't ride them anymore, but they are fun as hell. And it's good fun to reck and stand back up unscratched, then start riding again. I'd say get one.

Haha yeah my friend fell over while doing dougnuts in the dirt. I told a chick that likes him. She was like "omg is he ok?" I say "he's a retard. We started riding again and he asks me dude was that a sick crash or what?" lol good times.

But yeah i love dirtbikes. I mean living in the mountains just opens our playground. We can just go riding everywhere. We ride on the main roads and only once a sherif flashed his lights at us. Its awsome.

I'm not allowed to drive after totaling my car.

No seriously...

I'm not allowed near anything with wheels.

Car, bike, board, blades, razor, motorcycle, quad... you name it.

Ofcourse... with bikes, boards and blades its more out of worry that i'll try something stupid and break something... not that i'm bad on any of them.

and how did you total your car?

i'm not into any motorized bikes but I do like to take my mountain bike and ride down the sides of mountains, every once in a while.

I rode down the sidewalk, clipped two street signs, a small tree, and ended up wrapped around a phone poll. Leave me alone.

Yes, get a Dirt Bike. Im a huge dirt bike rider, race motocross on my RM 125.

I reccommend you get a 4 stroke though if your gonna be riding around on trails and shit in the mountains, pretty expensive for the basic gear that you should have but overall worth it.

Lol gear....hmm... Yesterday we went riding and i was wearing shorts and sandals. I hit the carborator with my leg i think, and somehow i now got an 8 imprinted on my leg. No worries, when my friend got his bike, the first burn he got was a honda imprint. At the least i do plan to get some gloves, goggles, and helmet (derr).

But yeah i was thinking a 4 stroke or lika xr230 which is what he currently has i think (he plans to sell it for a yz250....maybe...).

And you got out no scratches or bruises?

That happened to one of my friends 3 months ago. He ran off the road, took out a small tree, flipped, and ran into a fence.

He, however, died with a stake through his neck.

No laughing matter here.

Thats what I meant by basic gear...goggles, helmet, gloves, chest protector and your good. I didnt mean all the racing gear....and riding in shorts and sandals isnt the greatest idea. I have seen people do way too much stupid shit on dirt bikes considering I been around them most of my life, just isnt worth it in the end.

Yeah i know we weren't doing crazy stuff, just getting around. I dont plan to (key word there), it was just on short notice (i was at his neighbors house). Chest protector really nessisary, i'd see the only use of it in the rain when the road/dirt is wet and when sliding becomes a big possebility.

btw Inf i wasn't attacking you, just its not a laughing matter to others...but did you not get out with something broken...just currious.
