Thought I'd just kick off the return of PSU's Tech forum by announcing the coming release of 3DMark06 on 1/18, Wednesday.

http://www.gamespot.com/promos/2006/3dmark06/index.html

EDIT- You may notice that Gamespot lists the release date as 1/18/2005. Silly Gamespot. I sent them an email letting them know to change it to 2006.

I need to run '04

I tried it on my Geforce 4, and it kicked its ass.

Im sure my 9600XT would do fine with '04, but im expecting similar ammounts of pwnage on this box when I run '06.

My system is badly in need of some upgrading. But I find my money dissapearing into absurd things like... food, bills, and beer. WTF. Nerf life.

I hear ya Electrofreak. But minus the beer and add a baby. Baby > Beer.

I'm waiting for Asus to come out with their 16x dual slot SLI motherboard and/or the next nForce chipset that will support DDR2 memory before I upgrade. Depends on the positive cash flow situation. I just quoted a couple of my guild mates some really good machines and they're absolutely thrilled with them. That earned me a couple of extra beers down at the CDL Rally this year.

Well, with a scratch install of drivers and all the stuff runing in the back ground.

I got 3480, I should be getting around 4k once I start optomizing stuffs.

Oh god... 3DMark06 makes it painfully obvious how much I need to upgrade.
