MP3 Players

So... I think its about time to get myself an MP3 player.


I was looking at the new iPods (all special with their video and shit), and they're nice and all, but I really don't need something with all those frills - I just want to listen to my music, and maybe the radio.

Any suggestions?

I love ipods, but I cannot recommend the current gen video. Only about an hour of battery life while playing videos and a lack of Radio support.

I'v got the iPod Movie......love it.....30gb and I only have 100 songs on it so far.....I'v got some downloading to do....

Oh, and you need to buy a 75$ program to convert the movies into the correct file to put on the iPod, at least from my understanding, so keep that in mind.

I have a black 30 gig video. almost full. 3166 songs, Lost season 1 and what is out of season 2. I love it but the battery life is shit. I have finals all this week, my ipod died at the end of my second class. It is probably good to wait on those, but iPods for the win.

Creative Zens are pretty good for music playing I hear :)

Works great for me. Stereo sound, graphic equalizer and mixer, ability to play music videos as well, plenty of room for songs, great sound quality, right in my phone so I'm not carryin around a pile of gadgets.

I still have a first generation iPod, stuck a FM tuner and Car Charger on it and it's quite enjoyable for those long car rides. Just make sure you un-plug the FM tuner after you use it...thing spits out AAAs like candy.
