i have searched my town (watford) for a copy of PS in vain
so i have decided to download it from D2D has anyone got experience of this
will i be able to download patchs
oh and has the FREE 12 months been implemented yet

I have not downloaded from D2D - chances are it just downloads an installer. Once you fire up - the launcher will patch your game.
And no, the 12 month trial isnt in yet :)

ok ill try D2D as i can't even find it on the web as a CD
i think ill just pay for the account its not very much
thx ill post how it goes
only thing that gets on my nerves is its 19$ from D2D and its worth about 6$ :lol:
edit: sry if forgot, is it posibble to change from a paid to a free acount or the other way?
could i just create another acount or is it one per CD key

slight prob with buying it from soe is its 33$ as im in uk for deliverly
so off to D2D i go

word of warning to anyone else doing this is that even tho you pay for the game you are still restricted to the public server = low bandwidth/waits
unless you have a subscription to file planet

mozilla firefox has some issues with 1+ gig downloads so try using IE, which the site was designed for. it took me many long hours to figure that out :(
