Today was my first real day using real support (engineer), and before today, I would go arround thinking who would want to do support? but after today, I have realised that it is alot of fun. Me and this other person were siting at Aja repairing numerous veicles heading out to take back bozami. It was quite rewarding, reparing all these vehicles. Oh, and the effortless exp was nice too :p

Respect for those of you with engie who are willing to take the time and repair someone else's vehicles, you guys are great. I try to return the favor as often as I can with my Medical App.

Combat engie is also loads of fun. Nothing like dropping a Spitfire right next to someone intent on murdering you. Suddenly they have a whole new problem to deal with, and even if you die you're almost guarenteed a kill. :D Man I miss having a few ACEs in my pack.

I had bad experiences with CE. My best was when I started a noob character back in 2k3 , had nothing but CE (no medium assult), I was deploying random stuff outside of a base when a NC started attacking me. I ran behind a tree and deployed a spitfire then ran into a nearby bunker......he got owned.

One thing that could be usefull is if 2 of them would just sit back behind us MAXs and heal us so we don't always have to run back inside the spawn room and call for repairs. Yes its a waste of time for them......but i hate to look at some one who clearly has CE but doesn't have any need to repair a max with 32 armor.

I got quite a lot of xp today just healing people, especially when I was sniping with some outfit buddies.

Adv hack FTW. My computer cant handel giant battles so I go around and scout for nearby enemy towers or if i'm lucky an enemy vehicle....especally AMS's and Lodestars....hilarious to hack a lodestar and just deconstruct it. Also hacking AMS is great too. I actually once was stuck in a tower and the vs had their ams outside underneath a ledge. I jumped down on top of it and hacked it. Three guys managed to spawn from it until it got blown up. I think we lost the tower, but it was a good laugh.

its great to have too when you're stuck in your spawn room under a hack. Easy way to get hacking merits (was my first merit).

AMS Is also an awesome item to have. Just the other day, I had a well-placed AMS away from OS and bomber view, and I got 700 Assist kills and 12k Support Experience Points from that one AMS.

That was a good battle, especially since I was gunning for a BFR while my AMS was up :P

On my main (Which I play just about every second now, NC Markov, in case you were wondering Electro/Peace), I have Adv. Med and engi, and loads of other stuff, and I'm in one of the best outfits, so I have losts of fun being support.

CE fun as hell back before half the population had emp blasts and OS's. Nothing more frustrating than spending 10 minutes CE'ing a base or tower just right, just to have it all wiped away in 2 seconds with a couple dudes emp blasting.

I love how you get exp now for repairing stuff... something I used to do just to help folks out. Especally MAX's... after repairing them, some folks would give you a hug if there were an emote for it :D
