Game menu or what?

I just downloaded it and im gonna play the 10days trial
When i start the game there is a video on the right bottom of the screen, nothing else....
i cannot skip the movie and it just repeat over and over...
what do i have to do... :huh: :huh: :huh: :huh: ?

Arent there 2 movies you have to let it play through on your first run?

Yes there are 2 movies that play several minutes - just wait and the menu should appear.

If they seem to play over and over and not bring you to a menu, then you can manually edit a file and force the movies off.

In the Program Files\Sony\Planetside folder and look for a file called:
machine.ini

Edit the file, find the section below and change them from false to true as shown:
[game]
video1=true
video2=true

Start the game again and the movies should be skipped and take you to the main menu.

I've got the same problem, and the marsman solution doesn't work! That's my machine.ini file content:

[user]
configuration=user
lastserver=sdkpls-01

There's no video1 or video2 lines!

Try adding those lines to the file and see if they stop.
Apparently the entire machine.ini file isn't being written out on some systems for whatever reason.
