I just got the upgrade to do chat logging through GTalk and I must say its pretty cool. The chatting inside the gmail window is kind of odd but it actually logs your chats into gmail for archiving and searching.

Yo hamma how did you get this feature? I logged into GTalk and im not seeing an option to get this.

Hm I downloaded that. All that activated was saving my GTalk chats in Gmail. I dont see any way to log in through Gmail.

It seems to randomly come out - they must be phasing it in. I got a popup today at work asking if I wanted to use the feature and now I have a chatlog/search.

Ya they seem to push new features to different people. I had Web Clips at the top of my mail for a long time then just recently saw it was announced.

The integrated chat showed up for me today.
