ANy Honor in killing a member of the leaderboards?

Just curious. Any of you feel really good when you kill someone that is on the leaderboards.

I don't know if its just me, but I feel real good when i'm on Markov and I kill Evilpig, on top kill board and leader of the top most outfit. It just feels good to snipe him through the face and tell him that you just got pwned by a n00b.


You guys have this kind of vengeance or is it just me?

I never, ever pay attention to who I kill, just WHAT I kill......though I do notice if I'v killed a guy more than once (usually by hate /tells), but never noticed someone on leaderboard fall under my bullets.

that pretty much what I do, Shoot first, ask questions later. But I dont even visit the stats website, though if I did, I would probably be pretty proud of my self if I killed the person ranked 50th.

I have no idea who is on the leaderboard. I regard them all as solo killwhores anyway. I prefer to know people who understand teamwork and goals.

Yea leaderboard makes no difference to me either. I just kill and kill until my empire gains victory :brow:

I don't like this "Kill Stealing" crap either - as long as the enemy dies it makes no difference by whom.

Nobody can really "own" a kill, and how can you steal something nobody owns? :lol:

I don't even know who is on the leaderboards. Although i do like to send /tell to people who rides i jack after killing them.

EVILPIG isn't anything special and he spawn camps. I don't really notice who I kill, unless they send me a tell about how they were lagging or I was warping too much.

I've killed many a leaderboard HA freak in a hail of Rocklets. Many of em like to do the whole Agile + HA or Standard + HA route and it doesn't save em from my Rexo with a Rocklet Rifle on secondary fire. :)

And yes, it does make me feel good.

NOTE: I don't necessarily keep track of who is actually on the leaderboard, I refer mostly to those well-known players who've been around for a long time.

I sometimes send "Dual core?" tells when someone just flys around and warps through walls. That's more so I can tell whether it is the usual 'PS needs fixing for hardware issue' or something else.

I dunno about honor, but I love the tells I get when I respond to their hate with "Do not feel bad, I used to be ranked second in the entire game..." Ooh, they just fly off the hook :lol:

Yeah I just recognize him because he's played since the beginning and leads Markov's #1 NC outfit.
