We get a whole 2 cm of snow here on one day, the coldest day of winter, and it melts before it hits the ground.

Metric > Whatever you guys use. I like the temperature system metric has, it bases itself arround freezing and boiling points of water. 0 is freezing, and 100 is boiling. I also like the distance measurments more too, as 1 meter = 100 centi-meters 1 kilometer = 1000 meters. To me, it makes more snese using these numbers more then random numbers resembling different things...

The blizzard seems to somehow have warped around western New York... all we have is a dusting on the ground over here.

FINALLY!!!!! I have been bitching about the fact that it is Feb and we hadn't had one decent snow storm. I feel better now that there is like 8" of snow out there. I had winter, now spring will make sense.

In Plattsburgh, when we get snow, it is so windy, you will see a spot of no snow and then another spot with 4 feet of it. It's pretty funny how uneven it is because of the high winds.

I just found out that my hometown of White Plains, NY (right outside the bronx) got 22" of snow. Central Park in New York City got upwards of 27".. Seeing as it's so big, i'm sure the seperate atmosphere's so different amounts of snow. Maybe some were even sunny and 60-70 degrees.

Ohnoes... the snow is starting over here in Western NY... it's coming down like a giant white blanket. (It's almost erie when it snows like this... there is almost no wind and the snowflakes are giant so it looks like it's snowing in slow-mo...)
