I made this post so people can post their setups as far as certs and implants go.

so far i have

certs:
medium assault
heavy assault
assualt buggy
agile armor
reinforced armor

imps:
range magnifier
Adv targeting
personal shield

im mainly going to be an all around infantry gonna use the sheild alot and probably my main wep is going to be a gauss rifle and a jakhammer for close quarters

just so you know, before you can get an assault buggy cert, you will need to get a harrasser cert, its a prereq. What you have listed, plus harrasser cert, is about a battlerank 10 or so, so you will be able to get another 5 certs (about 2 cert points per cert, except for some aircraft).

So what else might you like? Here are a few of mine based on the planetside cert calculator for a battle rank 20 (the maximum):

Assault trooper

weaponry: medium assault, heavy assault, special assault, anti-vehicular

armor: agile, reinforced, MAX AA, MAX AV, MAX AP

vehicles: harrasser, marauder (I'm TR)

probably the first 2 certs im gonna get are medium assault and some vehicle cert, probably the first buggy.

All I need is reinforced armor and medium assault so I can use my cycler and Fletchette rifle. Implants would be adv. targeting, second wind, and range magnification for scouting.

The only thing I need is to get all the MAX certs. Those the first certs I'm gonna get. The reinforced armor and whatever weapon cert I need to use a minigun. Then If I have any spare points I would put them into driving a buggy.

I wanna get Agile Armor and Medium assault right off the bat. Then I will get Reaver, Skeeter, and Galaxy. Then I will get a Basilisk so I can get around. I think I will also get Repair and Engineering if I have certs left over. My implants will be Darklight, Advanced Targeting, and Range Magnifier.

Just wondering when you are choosing certs will you be able to eventually get all of them?

No, you can only have 1/3 to 1/2 of all certs. It would be imbalanced for someone to have them all.

Use search button next time for that question, but this is how you get them: As you fight you gain BEP (Battle Exp. Points) and once you have enough BEP, you gain a battle rank, which, in turn gives you a cert. you can use in one of the many catergories. I think that's it, but correct me please if I was wrong.

You get cert points by accumulating BEP and thus gaining battlerank. The max battlerank at this stage is BR 20. It has been stated that you can get BR 4 or so by just going through the virtual training. Another way to get BEP initially is to visit all the continents and the facilities on all the continents plus use all the weapons and so forth. This is based on what we see of screenshots that have been released, especially the latest ones of internal beta. So with BR 4 you should be able to get medium assault weaponry, agile armor, and a vehicle (ground or air). you need to get medium assault and agile armor anyway in some respects, because they will be pre-reqs to get other stuff. Devs are estimating 3 months of gaming experience to get to BR20, but they don't state it in terms of hours.

The actual number of cert points for each certification has not been determined, and will probably be tweaked in Beta, as will any weaponry that seems too Uber.
