Hello all im new to this forum, as uve no doubt guessed, ive been a fan of planetside for ages, since it came out but ive only just got around toforcing myself to buy it today, due to various reasons.... any way ive beenbrowsing around the community and ive noticed this cannonfodder thing..... and its sposed to be reasled tomorrow.... so ive decided to wait and get this and then buy the full game. My only concern is about the population levels as many of u who play galaxies no this is it big problem... ie its empty most of the time does planetside still have masses of players ? and is it better to just buy the game now, or wait and play this cannonfodder and then buy it after i get to BR 6, will doing it this way cause me to loose out on any content ?

While not like it once was, there is still no shortage of battles to find. I have my doubts about the Fodder program starting tomorrow so you can always use our Key Exchange to try the game for 10 days :)

erm when i click on the link it says i need to have loged onto my forum account, which i thort i had and alllow cookies ( am on medium secruity on net options) is there a serious lack of population atm like, i ve managed to persuade 10 of my mates to get cannon fodder just on the basis of how great it was when i had ago ages ago and the BFR's look amazing
EDIT ... okay so im an idiot got my key thank you so much to Skeez. what content does free trial get you access too ? and how would i go about upgrading to the full version after the trial ?
EDIT 2 and has cannonfodder been realsed today ?

No word on the Fodder program yet. I think the 10 day gets you PlanetSide without Core Combat (No BFR's etc and no visiting caves) when its all said and done you would need to purchase the full version from a place like Direct2Drive. You can find information and links on our Play Now (http://www.planetside-universe.com/p-play-planetside-now-60.htm) page.

More noob questions:
When I try to get the 10 day thing on the ps site it says I have to have a paying subscription... kinda defeats the purpose of a free trial doesn't it.
And if I install it now will I have to install it again with the fodder thing?

Well you have to be a subscriber to give a 10 day trial.
As for the fodderside thing I am unsure on that - I suspect you will be able to use the install you already have with some kind of fodder account.
