The whole SpikeTV and G4TV things is the lamest thing ever.. could this be it? I'ts pretty sad you can tell who is going to win the Spike one at least - whoever's pockets are deeper.

That would be really nice to see, real awards given to comapnies/devs that really deserve them. Its so typical that you will see Halo dominating the Spike/G4 show, while Shadow Of the Colosus will go un-noticed. It would be nice to see actaul deserving people get the awards, and hopefuly this show will be it.

If you want a real Video Game award ceremony, check out the DICE conference. Its not an award show but the games are nominated and chosen some of the brightest people in the industry.

Yea looks like those guys are involved in this.

Thats the thing that pisses me off the most about the current awards, the devs and people who work hard on the games get to sit back at the office. :lol:

Won't happen, at least for a while. The single greatest threat to the TV industry is video game.
