Well heres the new thread. Ill try to keep things clean!

Getting inspiration from Chirp ( I hope thats how he was called ) I powered up some programs and made this.

Sorry no colours :(

Basically it wasnt originally ment to be a vehicle for PS but now the more I think the more I wish something like that was implemented instead of BFRs.
Something prettyer than I designed but basic concept remains:

*Heavy Troop transport
-2 gunners ( 1 main cannon , 1 rocket pods )
-2 passengers
-1 driver

Something like a Land Raider from Warhammer.. its big, slow and needs teamwork to be fully operational.
Comments?!

looks more like a chimera (Imperial Guard Transport), should be fun though. Something i have noticed PS lacks is a good Transport able to go accross water, and that the people inside it could shoot out off

In regards to your latest picture, I thought I would point something out.

"Granade" is spelled with a second "e" and not a second "a"

Is that rendered with maxwell? If so you'd be better of rendering it with the standard scanline renderer, put a skylight up and activate light tracer (and increase the rays/sample). It'll be a lot faster and you won't have the noise.

Now can I get this in english ? Standart renderer of MAX ? The sketchup doesn***180;t really have a good rendering engine. I havent tried exporting my model to other 3d applications. Umm and doesn***180;t 3dsMax have V-Ray renderer? If you ment Max that is.
Yes im confused, help appriciated! :)

Well maxwell is a max plugin, so I meant max :)
Vray is another plugin, you'll only have it if you buy it. The default max renderer is scanline. If you didn't export your model to max how did you render it with maxwell? (if you did with maxwell)

Hehe got a SketchUp plugin for Maxwell renderer. It only supports old beta of Maxwell 1.2.2a. And doesnt Max have built in V-Ray Mental Ray renderer from version 6 or 7 like XSI ?4

I'm afraid to click on the pictures, because of my slow internet connection, but right now it looks pretty high poly.

But this would seem like the viable replacement to the sunderer. (A.K.A. The "Bang Bus".)

Sadly, friend, you will learn that the developers of Planeside lack the motivation, courage, and drive to introduce something that the community wants!

But it's always fun to dream, especially this way. ;)

Yes that is why I started modelling. You can actually see your ideas in the making. And show others. Ah and yes the model is high poly. I do not really try to lower the poly count because I will never use my models somewhere ingame. Id like to learn Photoshop up to a level where I can render pretty stuff out of the wireframe :D
And BTW do not be afraid the pics are of a really small size like 640*480

Sketchup has a maxwell plugin?? lol, ok.. the only thing I saw come out of sketchup, untill now, were horrible toonrenders :)
Max has mental ray built in, but vray is another renderer.

Here's my 3d site btw :p (http://users.skynet.be/reinhart/pizza3d) (really screwed in internet explorer !)

1) That looks low poly enough to be part of a HL2 mod, i'd submit it or something. You never know.

2) I've been using photoshop since version 4, and considering Adobe is on the 9th version (Photoshop CS2 I think is the latest), I'd say i've been doing it a while. But, IDK. I'm rusty. Been quite some time since i've been modivated to work with graphics, and what i've been dishing up lately just isn't up to par with what I've done in the past.

Isn't the half-squad (forget the name, Deliverer or something) transport still amphibious?
