I think asking for the profits made by Playboy is a bit over board. But I think the idea of using her photo with out her consent is cheesy. I know the photographer "owns" the photo but it's her image.

I get PB and I remember remarking to myself that the cover photo was from that craptastic movie Into the Blue. It's the same unmatching bathing suit that she wears in the movie - granted it was a very brief and something along the lines of - "Hey that bathing suit doesn't match...but will you look at that body!"

So it's no wonder, I enjoy PB getting flamed for this - I like Maxim magazine better anyway. Plus their 25 hottest celebs featured mostly ex-playmates - I hate that. Even though they were teh hot back in the day...they are starting to show tire tracks.

FYI about PB....I hear they may be redeaming themselves, rumor has it Jennifer Love Hewitt will be making a steamy birthday suit appearance in one of their summer month rags. I'll be holding onto the subscription a little while longer...

Oh and I read it for the articles and short stories...honest.

This isn't the first time PB has brought the rights of some celebrity�s photos from the photographer and published them with out the celebrity�s consent. I think they did this to the red head Spice Girl. They bought old nudes she did way before she was in Spice Girls.
