SOE Fan-Faire... anyone going?

I'm looking at the attendees webpage for the Fan-Faire, and there are three people signed up. They're all from Emerald. And they're all from BWC (my outfit). Three more of us are signing up either today or tomorrow.

So, does anyone else plan to go?

My outfit has enough people registered to upgrade from Classic pass to Gold pass. What this means is, all of us - every registered member of BWC - will be attending a private brunch with the PS developers.

What that means to you is, I am prepared to present to the developers a list of questions and ideas from the PS fanbase. So, if you have a question that you want answered, or an idea you want pitched, DIRECTLY into SOE hands, post it here.

Understand me, though. I am not an official-forum poster, unless I see something in the Dev tracker that I want to comment on. Therefore, I do not have the same tolerance and mindset as some of the dipshits there. Your questions and ideas will be ignored if they suck, or if I find them to be stupid. Because I employ common sense on a daily basis, that means your question had better be logical and well put-together. You're basically posting a question that my outfit will be representing and associating itself with. If you sound like a moron, your question WILL NOT get through.

I will be taking notes and bringing back answers to the questions. I will also be submitting a hard-copy of the questions to each developer or PS representative with the caveat that the players want to know these answers. Because I love PSU and PSS, I will be posting the questions and answers.

You would see tons of freaks there! Half Naked Elf Ladys pretending to cast spells, a few wookies, some lunatics running arround screaming "Buff the TR!", and probably 1 lone guy dressed as neo from the matrix... Actually that sounds fun... Too bad i live too far away :(

These are MORPG gamers... if they were wearing skimpy outfits, there would be fat lumping over in the wrong places.

Take a look at the pictures, dude.

They hire models to wear their outfits. They also have a "Talent Scout" team that has people standing in front of a bluescreen and they essentially farm these people for model talent for in-game avatars, or for other art-related projects. Some of the pictures of women (they have men too but I didnt look into that) are fairly decent.

Ask them if they have any plans to devlope marketing, since up to now Planetside has been the bastard child of SOE. Not getting any attention but great potential.
