Holy crap, PSU rises from the depths! :D :D

How are all of you?

What have all of you been up to lately? Things have changed alot for myself. I moved out onto my own when I was 16, and have been supporting myself since. I work 2 jobs now, and when i'm not working I spend my time playing PC games as usual. I'm really into racing now, both games, and real life. I'm set to go to school to learn how to race 600 Series NASCAR Bandelero Racecars this summer. :)

I spend most of my time playing a game called Live For Speed now, i've traded paint with Fragmatic plenty of times online. :)

It's good to be back, and now pictures, because what would a Squeeky thread be without pictures:

The good ole days :)

Yup :)

This computer is too sluggish to run it adequately, so I have to use my brothers computer. The only time I can get on is when he's out of the house though.

Rocking the Logitech DFP.

What's your name in LFS? I go by |Skweeky|, spelled that way so i'm not confused with Quinteschente (SqueekyDuck is his nickname) of F08 Oval fame.

You said you moved out on your own, and are working 2 jobs.. Are you still in highschool, or doing any schooling right now? I get curious. If you don't mind telling, it seems like a story to keep me busy for 30 minutes..

Well, the 600 Series circuit is designed as a low-cost build your own car and race it type deal. But i'm going to a few track meets in the next couple months and hope to find a motorsport company that is looking for a young driver for one of the sponsored circuits. :)

A few friends and I were at a school playground messing around and that thing is like a game or something. You throw a ball up in it and you don't know which of three holes the ball will come out. So I felt like jumping up and climbing my way in it and stuck my head and legs out of the three holes.

I'll leave you guys up to the jokes about me, three holes and what not.

Gah! Your friend is a graduate of the Skip Barber Racing School. I'm going to a trackday in April, and if I run quick enough I could get a sponsorship to attend a 3-day, $4,000 course at Infineon Raceway with Skip Barber.

Squeeky, if you're into racing you should watch initial D, unless you do already. It's anime, I'm not sure if that's your thing, but I enjoy it and I don't usually like anime.

Eh, i'm not really into Anime either, but I watch The Boondocks on Adult Swim, and that isn't an anime per se, but it shares the animation characteristics of an anime.

I'll check it out, i've heard plenty of people talk about Initial D. I thought it was a band or something.

You can. If you want to lose, that is.

Maybe I should've said that I doubt touge is the type of racing Squeeky is doing. Now don't get me wrong, I've seen some Initial D and I think it's pretty good, but...ah well, whatever.

You still don't drift during a track race unless you want to lose.

Touge Ridge in Japan? The most insane drifting road in all of the world :)

I like to get sideways as much as the next guy, but my talent is in getting through the corners quick. Not getting through them in a stylish manner.

WRC is wicked.

Rally is awesome because the weather, terrain, roads, etc...are all unpredictable. These guys go out, and drive as hard as they can possibly push their highly tuned cars around those turns and bends. What's even more insane, is the navigator is constantly giving the driver track notes, 5-6 turns in advance.

Imagine having to remember the next 5 turns in advance as you maneuver through them:

Easy right 5, into a long left, over bridge, hard right downhill, hairpin left across the railroad tracks.

The drivers can process that information and make the turns, some blind, at very high speeds and angles. Makes me hot :drools:

That was my first thought aswell. Just a lot of the music in the show is crazy fast paced eurobeat kinda stuff, you don't really find the style in many other places, so the music is often referred to as "initial D music" or something like that.
