SOFII.. DM mode.. ewww

GOt SOFII with my Sound Card.. played it DM mode on 2 servers.. banned from the first for "hacking" Whatever... I just owned those noobs.
Teh other one I just ran around and killed everything, till the lag back built to unplayability.. that was insane the amount of lag.

CTF is really good in that game. Mist is like in the top 4% in CTF for SOF2.

Top 4% of being bad or good? :p SOF2 is a good game when you find a good server with good players that work as a team. I know, I know, it's few and far between but, when you do find a good server it make for a great game.

I usually use the the M4, the pistiol grip shotgun, the socom pistol, the vest, and the incindary nades but, I do use the mp5 from time to time.

Oks oks I have SoF2 the double helex....and I have never seen an MP5, is it part of some expansion or something?

Yeah there have been 3 (i think) mp patches for Sof2. Mp5 and some maps came along in the second one. Seriously ph34r mist. I've seen him drop guys using the Uber Nuuber auto shotty.

Well, after playing some Inf and CTF, I must say I have one serious problem with that game..

The net code SUCKS BIG GREEN ONES.

My god, at the log in screen, even through 4-5 refreshes the server ping meter reads 34. Yet in game my ping swings so wildly its NOTEVEN FUNNY. From 55-215 WTF is with that?

Stupid is what it is. I will play, jsut cause its a nice change from CS, but please.. that game has some serious amature netcode.

And yes, I DID DL the patch V1.03

I've been playin SoF2 on and off for some time now. Never had a big problem with the netcode.

BF1942 has some awful netcode. BTW...does anyone play the DM mode ever anymore? BF1942..conquest is the only thing that's worth playing. And the rest are almost all CTF now.

bf has great netcode

on any server that i select with under 100 ping, i get absolutely no lag at all, and thats the truth

im not on any t1 either, just a regular old cable modem

All my lag problems with SoF2 have been with my cable company sucking wind. :( Except, of course, today when I was getting some huge packet loss out of nowhere several times.

Vicchio, if you're owning everyone too badly, play ctf and find the spd clan server. It'll depend on who happens to be online of course, but several members of that clan are amazing. Only problem I have with their server is that they play a lot of random maps, which I'm not as fond of. (even though the last random map I played, I was called a 'pussy sniper' for killing 16 peeps with an ak74 without dying... odd thing to snipe with I thought... I think the guy was just pissed...)

and yeah, fear the mp5 if you ever see me online... and ranger... the m4 sucks :p ... well, not the m4 as much as the m203 attached to it ;)

It's not the weapon you use it's how skilled you are with it. ;) Burst shots to the head and down you go. :D Finished up with a nade between the legs. :p What we should do is have some one with kiler pc and and kickarse bandwith to host a server called PSU or Planetside and all of us from here could play with people we know from the forums and the site. When I get my new machine at the end of Feb I'll be more than happy to host. :cool:

If you use it all the time like I do you can get pretty precise with it. Just like using artillary, you just have to be a good judge of distance.
