He should have turned the key to pos 1 then just roll out.....and yes it works even with an electric steering car!

Why not buy another BMW, the damned car saved him in a 120mph crash.

Without power steering it's not that bad, especialy on a fucking strait road! What a fool.

lol @ Speed. Did any one else think that it was weird that when the bus hit the mssing section of the road that it magically launched into the air, like there was a ramp at the end of the road section?

If I we're him, I would have whipped the car around and pulled the E-brake. Hoping that the slide will kill off most of my momentum and that the ensuing crash wouldn't be that bad. Then again, hindsight is 20/20 and I probably would have shit myself like this guy. :p

"I was trying to slip the car into neutral but because the car was over-revving and red-lining I couldn't do it.

"I couldn't turn off the ignition because it would have disabled the power steering and made it even more dangerous. I was even shouting at the other drivers to get out of the way, I was getting hysterical. The traffic was getting heavier and I had to take drastic measures.

damn, people are stupid. the 1st thing i would have done was thrown the car into neutral and let the engine blow or cut the car off. you dont need power steering, especially at 130 mph, its at speed lower than 10 mph when you need power steering

I expect a higher caliber of humor from you OMA. You usually don't dissapoint, but this time you took the low-road with the "riding your mom" joke, tsk. :p
