Yesterday (3/16) Wolfpack Studios announced that their point-n-click MMOG, Shadowbane, will be free to play from here on out. You can even download the game client for free.

So in short, all you folks whom never want to pay for an MMO can now play one for free! No gimmicks no nothing! Joy!

Actually I'm thinking that this might be a gimmick to draw attention to themselves in order to release a new MMO...
But that's just my assumption.

Tomorrow (3/19) Wolfpack Studios announced that their point-n-click MMOG, Shadowbane, will no longer have any servers up and running. The lead developer was quoted as saying "Go fuck a goat!"

Well... the graphics aren't that great and from what I saw back in beta, I wasn't all that impressed. Then again someone might actually enjoy it, it is full pvp after all.

I played it back in beta. Wasn't that amazing. basically you level up very quickly, compared to other games. The point is to level quickly and constantly duke it out at high levels.

I may try this out and play with some friends, Its a great marketing strategy. I dont know if it will work, but im glad someone had the cajhones to make it free though.
