Your post should be made up of the following:
Weapons (3 ranged, 2 melee) You may choose one mythical/fictional weapon
Base of Operations
Supplies Say roughly 400 pounds, not including 100 pounds that are cariable
9 People you would bring with you to your base (at least 2 PSU members)
Emergency vehicle for when you inevitably begin running low on supplies (were talking urban, common vehicles, excluding Humvees/Hummers)
Armor/apparel
This is a Level-fucking-Four outbreak. This means More zombies than living. And no there are no flying motherfuckers or super leap things.
Melee
Pudao (Staff with a broad-blade on the end)
Shocklance (T2 motherfucker)
Firearms
Combat Shotgun, not hunting, not sawed off, but a shell-after-shell pump-after-pump make-a-head-disentegrate-into-a-red-mist Shotgun. If you don't have one of these I would slap you then arm you with my shit-launcher.
M4 w/ Silencer, 203, & scope attachments
Portability, Explosion, range, accuracy, stopping power, FTW.
SAW
Machine-gun for when on my ledge in base.
Supplies
90 pounds of carried ammo, including but not limited to 2 hand grenades, 4 M203 grenades, 6 SAW cartridges, 6 M4 clips, and 50 Shotgun Shells
(Ammounting to 10 pounds) 10 Lighters, 3 ounces of Marijuana with seeds (I would find it neccesary), Old faithful (steel pipe), Anyform of Mp3 player that can take double A batteries for when the power quits, 6 Mountain dews (caffine, and lets face it, they are delicious), Then some sort of none-decaying food (can't think of one for some reason :( )
My stationary supplies would consist of:
250 pounds of ammo
30 pounds of MT DEW
Portable (open flame stove)
40 pounds of Gas
My Fender Mustang (guitar)
15w POS fender frontman amp
4 sets of strings
a pack of pics
And with whatever weight I have left I would bring as much Music as I can (I would cover the recreation for the rest of my group)
Vehicle
Suburban, and sliding metal sheets to block windows when needed
Base of Operations
Any 2 (or more) 2 story house in California, In a suburban area, not in the middle of nowhere, but out of the way enough that we wouldn't get too many stray Zombies.
I would Move everything useful from the bottom floor to the 2nd floor, and fill the sinks, bathtubs, and anything that can hold water up on the second floor, when the drinking supply runs out, even with evaporation, there will be reserve there.
I would tear down the stairs with an axe/sledge hammer (explosives could damage the house) Then promply mount a rope ladder which would be coiled at the top until needed.
Ledges. Ledges are important for sniper nests, and in my case a nest for my SAW.
People
My cousin Dan, hes got good paintball skills, one of my best friends, and he pwns in FPS's.

Armor
Long sleeve underarmor
Leather jacket (Although it looks badass while killing zombies, it serves a purpose)
Pant underarmor
Comfortable, not tight, not baggy, jeans

No, your dead. It takes time to saw (even if it like 2 seconds) through the zombie's limbs, exposing you to be swarmed. :groovy:

http://image22.webshots.com/22/4/52/74/207345274jGIphU_ph.jpg
Supplies
Full load of ammo (85lbs) thats 10 clips for the OICW 5.56 and 5 more 20mm Grenade clips, 10 clips for my Glock-20C
2 Bottles of Water, 4 MREs, 4 Snickers Bars, a MP3 Player (rocking out to Ramstien while blasting zombies), 1 Maglight, 1 Spair Set of Batteries, a Lesbian only Porno, 4 Grenades, 1 20mm Clip of Flares for the OICW
My stationary supplies would consist of:
250 pounds of ammo
60 pounds of MREs
40 pounds of Gas
2 Hammers, 2 Saws, 2 Boxes of nails, screwdrivers, wrenches various tools totaling 25 pounds
A generator (10 pounds)
15 Pounds of hard liqour
Vehicle
Ohhhh you poor bastards, Kabota Tractor with Forward and side mowing attachments (RUN EM DOWN)
Base of Operations
Thats easy! There is a military base about 20miles from my house. Theres Emergancy food bunkers, PLENTY of ammo and extra guns, all of which are exchangeable with my guns, and there is a mall about 2 miles from there. The base is located in a secluded vally so you really cant see it unless you were looking for it. Theres only one way in as its surrounded by a mine field. On it is an airfield with lots of aircraft, and vehicles. (tanks included). Buddy of mine is a soldier there. He says theres enough supplies kept on that base to feed 1000 people for 2 years and enough ammo of various types to take over a small city. The mine field has only one entrance which is where I would lay my Mk19. I would also mine this up some and make a very specific path to get through.
People
Electrofreak - Hes smart enough to help us figure anything hard ware related when I make a security system Plus hes a great friend
Electros bro - Uber Ninja / Karate
Gryphon - Programmer = program a security system
My Buddy rob - Soldier, awsome friend
1 Chick for each of us (Id choose a good friend of mine ive had a crush on since I was a kid... shes no tough girl but Ill bet she could shoot a gun)
Armor
SPARTAN system
Or to be more realistic, for suicide mission, reinforced bomb defusal suit
Recon - None, rather be fast and out run zombies
Normal - Gortex Jeans with metal rings, Leather jacket with metal rings sewn in (think chain mail), bandana
Cant beat that shit. Even if I ran out of ammo my light sabers would beable to fend off hundreds if not thousands of the fuckers. Id have tanks, and aircraft at my disposal, enough tools, spair parts, and time to build what ever I wanted. And enough technical expertise to do what ever I wanted.

M60 or M240 for ammo compatability with the 7.62 NATO Rifle.
Mk. 19 Grenade Launcher
G3/CETME/FN FAL Rifles: Powerful and accurate the best of both worlds, it is the full sized 7.62mm NATO cartridge, sure its heavier but its certain to knock the zombies down.
Mosin M91/30 Bayonet (http://www.biohazzard56.er7600.com/FTP/bayocoke.jpg) for shiskabob and K-BAR
3 Level bunker: above, under and ground level floors
Supplies:
Belt loader, small reloading press, MREs, water, mountain dew, hotpockets, a box to carry alot of brass, entertainment of some kind.

Can I use stationary? if so I'd use that 1 million bpm gun,and that automatic grenade launcher,I'd go to nellis air force base which is very close(my gandma, grandpa live there),I'd bring 100 lbs of mt dew,I'd bring my family of seven poeple, and Hamma and Peacemaker if he wasn't at his military base because they are awsome on planetside.I wouldn't have to bring ammo and food because they even have a store and all those bags of food that last a really long time. And more mountain dew, which it seems every1 on that base are addicted to.

I dont need to reload... Ive got enough ammo lol... besides, to reload shell casings you need acctual bullets and gun powder. ALOT of both. And while the M60/m249 has alot of stoping power I think your under estimating how many bullets a zombie can absorb. My solution to this was use weapons that have the best stoping power and versitility. A SAW may dump alot of bullets, but if it cant hit the heads its worthless. The G3 on the other hand is a perfect weapon to use. Lots of power behind that bullet. My OICW CAN be converted to a 7.62 and If I could I would. Remember, your fighting zombies, not humans. You want manuverability and speed over raw firepower.

Its all about the velocity vs weight trade off. Any 7.62 long cartridge. Battle Rifle is more than good enough, Id just like to make sure.
7.62x54R for the win! Not bad for a 116 year old cartridge.

Weapons:
A full auto shotty, like a Sigia(sp) not to be used full auto per se but to ease on reloading times(clips 4tw).
A .40 pistol, S&W prefered brand.
If i got a game's weapon I'd go for the upgraded gravity gun, and I'd leave all the other weapons behind.
I would not have a base, I would take three vehicles, and but at the minumum the tanker and the bus.
A normal school bus with most seats striped, fitted with cots, a kitchen, a week or food and a good bit of water, and most, if not all, of the armory. It woudl have a CB radio(like the other vechs), a TV, an AM/FM radio, and a shortwave. Reinforced with plating in weak areas.
The second vehicle would be a tanker truck, filled to the brim with diesel, cab reinforced and some food and water and ammo in there.
The third would be a semi with a sleeper cab, and a Refrigerated trailer. This would store all the food we come by and a large amount off water. It would also store as many spare parts as we could find, and other usefull things(welder and generator come to mind), and if a third vehicle was not found, any excess space would contain diesel fuel.
People: 3 of my friends, Dad, a truck mechanic, and 2 ex-marines.
Body armor: some kind of chain mail like stuff to prevent bites hopefully light weight, otherwise: tough stuff, like a carhart or touch leather jacket.

Melee
Katana. I really don't have Yellow Fever (I still hate anime) but it's the best, bar none, against unarmored targets.
Bayonet on AK-47
Firearms
AK-47/GP-25 grenade launcher combo, with red-dot on rail attachment, and two 75-round drum magazines. Yes, the choice is rather controversial, but when I'm going to be fighting hordes and hordes of zombies I really really don't want a jam. If I was going to war I'd pick an M16 with a 6.8 upper, but hordes of zombies are different.
Smith and Wesson .500 Magnum. It may well recoil like hell but one shot is all you need. Factor in also the revolver's amazing reliability: if gore or something gets in a chamber, just pull the trigger and the next chamber fires.
Accurized M14 with scope and synthetic stock. For when they are far away.
Supplies
Ammo. Lots of ammo. Along with MREs that don't perish and water. Also add in a few HE grenades and a couple of White Phosphorous grenades.
My stationary supplies would consist of:
Even more ammo, grenades, etc. with permanent food, gas stove, etc.
Vehicle
Ford Excursion with blanked out windows.
Base of Operations
Homestead AFB, preferably some well defended part of the complex, at least two stories off the ground.
People
No idea.
Armor
Don't shoot me, but I'd actually wear plate mail. Made correctly it's light and should be impervious to bites, claws, etc. (Plate armor was used in WW1 by German assault troops.)

Melee
Long sword. Call me a loonie, but I've been doing medieval combat for a long time!
Shield. Nothing like a good shield bash.
Firearms
I'm gonna go with aztec on this one, AK-47 with the ammo drums. I rather have a gun that's damn near indestructable then an M16 that jams because of a grain of sand in the clip. I would go with JHP ammunition to inflict maximum damage.
Colt Anaconda .45 with an 8 inch barrel. Less of a punch then a .50 but I do beleive that .50 is pretty much overkill. Same as above, JHP ammunition.
Gravity gun, who could resist flinging cars at zombies?
Supplies
Ammo, dried food, water, grenades. Maybe a couple of satchel charges.
My stationary supplies would consist of:
Ammo, food (hell maybe crops and livestock), water, gasoline, medical supplies, pharmaceutical supplies, etc.
Vehicle
I've been thinking alot about this one and basicly you want something that's reliable, fast, resistant and that won't flip too easy and that has alot of space for salvage. I'm guessing my best bet would be a modified semi with a big trailer.
Base of Operations
I have NO idea... honestly I'd say military base, but the closest is like 2-3 hours away and in the middle of nowhere...
So I'm gonna go with the underground complex that's near here. It's like 3 story into the ground one above with a huge warehouse and chainlink fence all around it. It's a shipping depot for some company. The warehouse could easily be converted into a workshop/salvage depot while the underground depot/offices could be converted into a rather large living area. The steel doors are already present and we could easily accomodate 50-60 people... just need to grab some appliances like stove, etc. and tadam!
People
Andre-Anne, my current girlfriend.
Guillaume, one of my friends who was in the army. Studying to become a mechanic.
Benjamin, another one of my friends who once stabbed someone in the leg with a compass in class because the guy tried to copy on him/was annoying him. (Does alot of medieval combat as well)
Mig, friend of mine who's a cop and an ex-military. He's big and mean. In fact I'd see him picking up a sledgehammer instead of a gun...
Hamma, he seems to be the normal person on this forum.
Bio or OMA, those two would probably be helpfull.
Lee-Sandy, friend of my current girlfriend. She's hot, bi-sexual and she could probably take care of herself even if she only weight like 90 pounds. (She's like 5 foot tall at max)
John, friend of mine who's really weird but has this huge talent. When he puts his mind on doing something he achieves it. He's studying in bio-chemistry right now at the university and he's only 18 (graduated at 15 from high school). He is already qualified to be an electrician, a mechanic and he also has basic knowledge of medecine (basic pharmaceutical studies and basic pre-med studies). He's been shooting guns since he was in diapers and is also trained in various martial arts. The guy is the busiest man I've ever seen. His room is FILLED with books, music instruments, computers and random papers. He barely sleeps and always finds something to do and can barely sit still but my god that boy's a genius. If I were a woman. I'd marry him, even if he looks like a bum with his long hair.
Vince, Italian guy I know who runs a less then reputable business in Ottawa. The guys a fucking psycho (he got into a bar fight once and punched the guy senseless then bit the guy's shoulder and ripped a fucking piece of flesh off) but I'd want him on my side, good friend of mine and he saved my ass more then once. Also has a LARGE collection of guns, suprises me he doesnt make his own bullets. The guy is a lisenced gunsmith and has alot of connections. He's also goth so he could communicate with the zombies!
(I have too many fucked-up people around me)
Armor
I do LARP's... best thing I got would be my platemail and my chainmail... nothing will get thru this baby. But it weights about 40 pounds, so I'd probly just go for light kevlar.

Why does everyone keep saying M16s jam alot? M16 and M4s are very reliable weapons. The M16s from ietnam jammed alot to be sure, but thats because they were using a diffrent type of gun pouder. Modern M16s are very reliable and CAN be imersed in sand or water and still fire.

That's one of the smallest battles we've ever had. There's over 2000 people at that LARP wich is hit location... no "SLEEP! LIGHTNING! DEATH!" It IS a fantasy setting, most of the actions is player based due to the sheer size, there's multiple groups spanning from a roman based clan to an orc horde to dark elves.
http://www.bicolline.org/db_Bico2005_319.jpg
http://www.bicolline.org/db_Bico2004_233.jpg
There's fucking houses on the damn place! Not just two, there's 2 complete medieval villages, in fact... you can even rent them and own them. You can also buy or rent fucking horses there. (The horses are trained for combat and will not run over anyone) There's also some forts.
http://www.bicolline.org/db_Bico2005_285.jpg
There's also an NPC horde over 150 permanent staff. The costume are not cheesy... see above. They have professional make-up and hair artists, you can actually choose what to be. If you don't want to fight you can always be a merchant, an entertainer, whatever. In fact there's a blacksmith who lives on the location and makes a living off those LARP's.
http://www.bicolline.org/db_Bico2002_151.jpg
There is alot of women there too... some cute ones, some hot, some ugly. ALOT of cute ones!

Hey, why would I be ashamed of something that I like? You might not like it, but I'm a big fan of medieval combat! SCA combat is fun, but there's not enough events in the region to justify getting into it. Laugh all you want, but this is a hobby I enjoy. Some people like Warhammer, dungeons and dragons, model painting, etc. I like LARP's (and D&D... and warhammer... well alot of stuff really).
