Creators of shadowbane, Wolfpack studio will be shutting down on may 15th.

Personally I have mixed feelings about this, I'm suprised they lasted that long but in another way it's always sad to see a game studio get shut down. My guess is Ubisoft made Shadowbane free in order to avoid any billing problem once they close the damn thing but then again it could become a free game altogether.

The game has been put on hold, knowing Blizzard it's probably just a subtle way to kill it off. If you were waiting on the said title you might not want to hold your breath.

Not founded news, but still worth reading. Hopefully Sony WILL lose the SW license and put an end to the whole damn thing.

1. Whatever
2. When was the last time a Blizzard game had a short dev cycle?

I thought so,I mean it's trailer got to be right next to the Halo 2 trailer when I watched the Halo 2 trailer.

Indeed but for some reason they put the choke on it. According to the article they might be post-poning it in ordre to make it a next-gen title, but that's only assumptions really.

I've been following Ghost since mid 2003. It was slated for release later that year. Blizzard moved the release into 2004 to give themselves time to deliver the best game they could. Then they switched developers pushing the release date into 2005. Then they bought out the new developer, Swingin' Ape. Even after a grand response at E3 it's now slowly crawling back into the abyss.

It switched from stealther to an interactive stealther/shooter. Then blizzard announced you could play hero characters from other factions (At that point I couldn't wait to play) and then the E3 demo looked almost finished, in fact alot of people were praying for it to go gold in the next few months.

Those people got their dreams crushed.

Fuccckkk...

Yeah, I've been following SC: Ghost for a couple years now, including numerous development 180s, studio changes, and several promised release dates.

This sucks.
