Need Help

Anyway, hello. Just a quick question, how do you guys get ur friends to play this game.

Ive got a friend called Dan and this game seems perfect for him, big robots set in the future, big guns, vehicles etc. Yet he looked at it and doesnt even want to give it a go. Ive explained its free and there is all so a 18 hour update time and he doesnt seem to mind that (i did at first), but he wont give the game a go. Ive tried inviting him round mind to have a go on my account first but nothing, so then how do you get ur friends to try Planetside.

Usually my friends are glad to try any games that I play, we have similar taste in games. I don't see why he wouldn't give it a try, as it's free. I think Dan is a noob, beat him with a belt.

I've convinced my buddies by picking out the best "magnet" video I've found for Planetside, and showing it to them... hasn't failed me yet!
The video I used was the video made by Band of Brothers outfit, hosted on their site ( http://www.bandofbros.net ) - it's the Outfit_Video_2005_BoB.avi . Truly a nice piece showing off all Planetside can be!! :thumbsup:

Edit: If he needs more convincing, another good outfit that made nice videos is the Sturmgrenadiers... especially their second, 45+min long one!! Definitely Hollywood!! That one I downloaded from Fileplanet though... and there are many other goood videos out there... go grab'em, and decide with which to hit on your friends!!
