Did the Reserve thing to see if it still had its old flare...and nope, even in a small fight it still lags and crashes...and I even have a better card now
Sure hope whatever takes PS' place is a good game from a good company.

I'm sorry to hear that. I was thinking about doing the reserve thing as well, but since you're reporting that you're still crashing, there's no point for me to try. (I'm still using a 64 meg card). Maybe when I get my laptop in a few months.
All they really did was update the UI and make things shiny... all the bugs are still there.

They did a UI update? It just seemed laggier to me.

Lol your joking, i use this:
1.5 P4
512mb Ram
64 mb MX440
and i play fine, sure lags abit when i get in to a major firefight but i can still play in smaller engagements. Plus it doesnt effect me for my Anti Vehicle Role. Nothing beats a fast moving Agile with a Rocket Launcher

Depends on your config. It's not a very optomized game.

Shrug I played it for a year with a 2.4 processor, 512 ram and 64 meg card and it got progressively worse every month until I couldn't play.

My comp is crap, yet I still rack up plenty of kills, although I hate when I'm fighting one on one with another soldier/MAX/vehicle and I lag for a split second and die.

Sell EQ2 to another company and shut down SOE!

I have a 1.7 ghz, 512 ram and a 128 mb card FX 5500 I think...
And I run it perfectly... the BFR's are annoying, but still... I usually get a 2 to 1 k/d ratio.

I played PS on the following:
Compaq Presario Pre-Built Machine :D
1.29ghz Celeron
512mb SDRRAM
GeForce 4 MX440
Ran fine on low settings.

upgrade your comps fools! i played on a 3.2ghz pentium 4, 256mb Radeon X850 video card, 2 gigs of RAM, and an awesome sound card(cant remember name), and i still got all the same bugs, crashes, and the annoying things that make the game suck. I didnt get any lag, but the game did frequently crash and stuff.

My FPS never drops below 40, but I get stuttering even at 100+ Doesn't seem to matter how many ppl are on screen or not. And naturally it's most annoying when being shot at.

Try ajusting your bandwidth settings in game options.

I have never had more than 60 fps, and even then I only get that high staring at the ground in the middle of the sanc with all the settings on low..kind of odd really. Then again, I never get below 10 fps except for minor lag freezes in really populated close combat which I dont mind that much. I have a 1.9ghz P3 with radeon 9800 256mb card and 1gb of ram..I'd think it would perform a little better but its probably because I have so much crap on my PC, as well as the dire need to defrag it. Also, the odd thing is, I never crash at all. I know I've crashed a few times but I just dont remember when. Crazy.
