The pertinent content causing the change in the ESRB rating involves more detailed depictions of blood and gore than were considered in the original rating of the game (the game already carried a Blood and Gore content descriptor), as well as the presence in the PC version of the game of a locked-out art file that, if accessed by using an apparently unauthorized third party tool, allows the user to play the game with topless versions of female characters. The locked-out topless skin was found by ESRB to exist in a fully rendered form on the game disc, but is not accessible in the Xbox 360 version of the game.

All I can say is, what a bunch of idiots.

eh, tbh I'm not that surprised. My character in Oblivion is only level 9 (work ftl) but yesterday I found a book in the game that had a sorta raunchy little story in it. Nothing explicit but definately some intended wordplay. Doesn't surprise me the devs left an "M" easter egg in there.

I bought the game yesterday. It's fun but I like MMO's better. I ate up 4 hours last night just exploring and testing the games limits - which there doesn't seem to be any.

mommies do.
Considering most recent news bits, parents don't pay any bit of attention to the ratings.

Most stores in my area will actually make you pull out your ID before selling you an "M" rated game. Also if you've got anyone under the age of 17 with you, they won't sell you the game.

Hehe.. You read the Lusty Aragonian Maid? Or something like that? Funny book.

BTW all this was in the previous TES games.. Hell daggerfall let you see everything. Point is a modder exploited it, and now because of it they are gonna start locking the art files which is going to FUCK MODDING UP FOR TES. Which has been the bread and butter of it for the last 6 years.

Idiots, idiots, idiots..
