BOSTON -- In New Hampshire, folks are hot on the case of a rather strange kidnapping and they said they need help as they roll along.
They are looking for the Pillsbury Doughboy.
Employees of the Plastow Market Basket Store, where the Doughboy stood, now receive ransom notes of sorts. But the kidnappers are not asking for dough, they just want the store, which is closing after 20 years, to remain open.
The possible consequences are hard to bite into as the kidnappers have threatened to fire up the oven.
Store employees said the episodes are adding a bit of lightness to a rather sentimental time.

This is all taking place right around my area - just up the road. And it's made it on the national news scene
