Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) will be co-publishing Vanguard: Saga Heroes. When it became evident that Microsoft's vision and direction for Vanguard differed from Sigils's. Sigil began the proccess of raising funds to buy back publishing rights for their upcoming MMOG. As a sign of the amicable split from Microsoft and the tentative deal with SOE, all three companies will be demoing Vanguard at E3. In other words... Vanguard is dead!

Mag, you might like the games but I for one HATE SOE. Alot of their games have a shitload of potential, but they keep fucking up. It's expansion after expansion and they keep fucking up with patches. When they fix something, 10 bugs come up.

Sounds like it was doomed from the start. On the LOTRO boards (which will soon be wiped), there we're a number who stated Microsoft is what ruined Asherons Call 2.

Still... I have the impression alot of the MMO's coming out won't be worth it. LOTRO seems midly appealing but it could easily suck. Stargate world doesn't have alot of info... so... yeah.

The rest are just cut and past clones of some korean MMO.
