Yea, I cant imagine the number of people working in the hubs. I work in a Fedex Ground terminal. We have a troughput (boxes per hour) of about 3.5k and do 14k boxes a night. We have 40 employees. I run one of the 3 van lines. Mine averages 5.5k boxes a night. COmes out of 18 wheeler trailers, down a belt, split between the 3 belts, and loaded on the delivery vans. I litterly cannot imagine the size of that hub.

I can generally hear or see airplanes landing every 15 minutes at least. Oh, and as for the amount of people who work at our hub, I have no idea, but I'm pretty sure it's a whole hell of a lot.
