I just finished wiring up my lounge. Now it may not have disco balls and smoke machines, but it does have electric lava lamps, what I like to call "cinema lights", 2 TVs, 2 computers networked, all connected together so that the TVs can play on the computers, the computers on the TVs, a large sound system consisting of a 5.1 surround sound for the main computer, a set of huge concert-size stereo speakers, my brothers electric guitars and bigass amp wired into it all, along with my PS2 and Xbox.

Everything can run on everything else. I'm serious. Video from the computers can go onto either or both of the TVs, either TV can run cable as well, the 2 computers are LANed together for gaming, I can pipe the TV onto the computers, pipe sound from the TVs or computers through 5.1 surround and/or the large stereo speakers, same with the XBox and PS2. All this in a nearly soundproof room that is only accessible through my bedroom. One of these days I'll clean it up enough to take some pictures of it.

All I'm missing is a party button and the dance floor effects :p

Thats not actually the problem... it's finding girls who can tolerate a room with beer and soda bottles lying all over the place along with empty pizza boxes and stuff.

This room is wired up pretty pimp... but it's a damn mess. :D
