That doesn't suprise me one bit, and shouldn't suprise anyone. We all drink bottled water and that stuff practically makes up more than half the world. So now we have canned oxygen for sale? Both ideas are competely stupid as either one is free. Hmm I could go open my mouth and breathe in the air, but.... I think I'd rather buy it first.

It's a matter of purity. I can't really stand drinking tap water because I taste every fucking compound they put in it... When I drink water I wanna taste NOTHING. Nothing but a cold liquid going down and filling me up. That's it. I don't want to drink chlorine, fluoride, etc.
I'm guessing it's the same with the Oxygen...

1. Water has a taste.
2. Bottled Oxygen.... 100% oxygen is toxic. Something could go wrong here and produce a bottle o death. Imagine the factory fucks up and makes it toxic levels. They all sell and people start droping dead everywhere. No one can figure it out.
I don't think it's 100% oxygen.
Edit:
But I'd love to work at one of the factories and bottle up some farts.

Who the hell thinks bottled water is stupid?
It's purified water, in a bottle. What's stupid about that?

I think it's kinda stupid, except for a few areas, but I'm biased, because Memphis' water supply is one of the naturally cleanest in the country. (Maybe the world too, dunno.):p

It's not stupid.
I'm driving, I feel thirsty. I stop at a 7-11. I want to get water to drink. Water comes in a bottle, like most other beverages. What am I missing here?

This creates an enormous drug potential. Throw in some type of inhalent with that Oxygen, make it addictive, and boom. The new craving.

100% Oxygen is only poisonous when it's above Atmosphereic pressure, combined with long exposure times it is(over hours at a time).
It's not a cumulative effect either, once you aspirate the excess out you can do it all over again.
Over a long term I could see it reduce your red blood cell count, similar to how people that live in the mountians develop higher levels of red blood cells, only backwards.

I must add this to my "What Happens When You Nuke A Country" folder.
Hmm, I***8217;m kind of curious what else is in that folder. Probably the same stuff I have in my, ***8220;Mutated farm animal porn***8221; folder.

I think what many of you fail to realize is that in many areas of Japan, such as Tokyo, air pollution is actually a real issue. So in the same manner that you want to get pure bottled water, you'd get pure bottled air. Sure, I still think bottled air is kinda silly, but the premise behind the idea isn't totally ridiculous.
