Well, I'm currently playing in a game that's bound to last for a long time and even thought I'm only level 6 as of now, I'm already planning my future organisation.

In short the order itself is called Silver Dawn, it's a paladin order. (My character's a Paladin/Fist of Raziel) I've thougth of a big ass stronghold ala Helm's deep, but I've resigned myself for something smaller in scope for the instant.

Like the title states, I need ideas!

Are you having a fortress constructed ingame for your order?

Yeah more or less.

I want it to be simple so it doesnt cost too much but not too simple so I can get raped. I have leadership feat so the labor isn't much of a problem just as long I have a village of sort built in the middle of the fortress or outside (for farms and the such). (Gives me the opportunity to have the families of my men to raise combat morale and also a baazar to maximize the profit I get from my outpost)

I'm gonna be starting out small at first. Maybe a 100 men at most, but I'm aiming for a world-wide, dare I say plane-wide organisation.

I was thinking of making the first camp something of the rogues camp in Diablo 2 but in a larger scale... but I'm having trouble with the layout of it. I don't know if I should be smack in the middle of a plain, on the side of a mountain, etc.

It's also a school of sorts, for new paladins and clerics. Families send their daughters, sons, etc. to be trained, pay a small fee and their children are trained to live as paladins and clerics.

If it's a school, it should probably be firmly established and expensive, if it is going to be cheap, it shouldn't be.
