Hangovers suck ass, but they are an excuse to lay around the house all day and do nothing. Show your love for hangovers here!

I, apperantly, don't get hangovers.
Though I've not tried the whole pass-out drunk thing, that might be part of it.

Then you don't know how to drink. If you drink enough water while you're drinking booze you won't get the hangover.
And... aren't you a minor?

Not true at all? Alcohol dehydrates your body. That queezyness you feel when you wake up is caused by dehydration (doesn't take much of genius to figure that out).
Since you pee alot during your alcohol consumption period (due to beer etc. being a diuretic) it helps to hydrate your body as much as possible.
Going out on a full stomach also helps, the food will absord some of the alcohol so it won't go directly into the bloodstream. This will only slow the effect thought, water is still the best way to avoid a hangover.
When you get home drink the biggest glass of water you can, have a pee and don't use tylenol's etc. (that will only worsen your hangover in the morning).

Indeed. If you're a light drinker that almost never drinks, take it slow. Your body isn't used to it and will eventually build up a resistance. Matt here could probably drink enough vodka to kill an elephant and just be midly tipsy.

Yea thats one of the mistakes I made. I took 2 advil and drank gatorade haha. O well, ill know what to do for next time

Gatorade is fine. Anything that will rehydrate you is fine, the advil's were a bad idea !

Hangovers suck - the only thing that gets me hungover now though is Tequila. Ever since that one night me and Tequila went one on one.. T has won ever since. :p
Advice my alcoholic brother-in-law gave me to stop a hang over the next day.
Drink more in the morning after you wake up.
He's a true alcoholic, been in rehab 3 times. My sister can't have anything with alcohol in the house. Like rubbing alcohol, mouth wash, ect.

Rubbing alcohol!?! Sheesh... that's bad... better not let him drive his car he might try to drink the windshield washer...
Yeah, he almost died drinking rubbing alcohol. Don't know if he's tried windshield fluid yet, but I'll keep that in mind and watch it to make sure it doesn't disappear.

That's bad thought... your sister much really love him to stick with him through that.
Oh she does. He's a really great guy, just has a "slight" problem with alcohol.
Giovanni

Yeah... "slight"...
It's nice to see that thought. You're brother in law is a lucky man to find someone that will stick by him no matter what! It doesn't happen alot. In fact one of my good lady friends was just dumped a couple of weeks ago after she lost her job and appartement.
She was with the guy for like 2 years (shame too... I would of done her! But now... I'm a friend!!! :rollseye: ) and the only time she needs support... he dumps her out of the blue and now she's a total disaster... haven't seen her in a week and a half and last I talked to her she was going out to buy a 40 of vodka at the local liquor store in her pyjamas (and she was tipsy...)
Sad really...

don't mix your types of alcohols too much and drink water before bed and you're fine.

Well OMA let's bring this party back! BTW this is not a cool guy drinking post - just a little insight to a moron drinker.
I get horrid hangovers if I drink the hardstuff. Damn you to hell Captain and Coke. Coincidentally that was around January during a Planetside Ops (I had some horrid wisdom teeth pain and tried drinking the pain away) - All I did was wake up hungover and in pain. I actually stayed home from work - which is a rarity. I still get a little quesy anytime I touch anything with a hint of vanilla.
Another hangover is the Ice Beer hangover. Holy Hell I drank a sixer of Labatt Ice once. It knocked me on my ass and I woke up the next day with a Grade A killer. Haven't touched the stuff since.
I had a glass of Bushmill's on the rocks when I was going through my straight whiskey phase. (Crown is king). I woke up in cold sweats, vomiting and it felt like I went 10 rounds with Tyson.
Then there was the time I went to a Bills game about 6 years ago and got pretty saucy - we won and we continued the celebration - we ended up at a local bar afterward and I switched from beer to Southern and Coke. I drank another six hours straight...and they were going down quicker as the time ticked off. I took a taxi home and as soon as I got in the door I was violently ill. I was so sick my room mate was disgusted and left me to go stay at his girlfriends place. I lived on the third floor of an apartment building at the time. I guess I cleaned up and I put the paper towels into the toilet. Well I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night and flushed the toilet. My girlfriend showed up at like 5 in the morning - she was screaming at me - she managed to get me up and start cleaning the bathroom. Yep. When I flushed the toilet previously, the paper towels plugged the toilet and water filled up the bathroom floor. I guess with my girlfriends help I cleaned up the mess and went back to bed. At 8:30am I heard a pounding on my door. I opened the door (I'm sure I looked like death warmed over) it was my landlord! I managed to D-Stroy all of the bathrooms (the way the apartment was situated the bathrooms all lined up going down to the bottom (basement) floor. I guess there must have been water cascading down ruining all of the dry wall. I apologized and told him I wasn't feeling well and that I was on a lot of medication (if you count acting like a moron and drinking way too much "sick"). I offered to pay for the damages but he told me not to worry about it. That was real nice of him because that was one of the dumbest things I've ever done.
With beer I get different results each time - usually mild. Depression is actually the worst for me. I've been drinking pretty heavily during these Stanley Cup playoffs - it's a nervous thing, I keep just having one after the other. I've been waking up fine and making it to work no problem. I've also been drinking darker lagers - I think the carbonation has been bothering me the past couple of months with regular beers - so that might be the reason for the shift and maybe the reason for the mild hangovers.
Thursday mornings are a little worse though. We have softball Wednesday nights, we go to the bar afterward, drink pitchers of Blue or Bud, or Michelob and then chase them down with hot wings.
I dread (and so does everyone in the office) Thursday mornings.
But you play - you pay.

I can't even think of anything to say, but: Wow your a depressing little bit of emo/goth looser now aren't you?
The only people that would even have the right to say that are people that devoted thier lives to thier dream, yet never gained one single bit of ground towards it. I doubt you could say that.

Gio I love you, I've been wanting to get shit-faced-drunk for weeks now but I work all the time, at a front Desk. I can't be hung over. I am willing to go all out and try this idea. Just so you know, a hard working man could be fired, or have a great time b/c of you.

Haha, I'm saying "I" don't get a hangover with this method... it all depends on how you drink really...
Don't be a fucking psycho with the booze and you'll be fine.
