Activity?

hello there! i'm almost new to the site. used to be Terran Sniper way back when (bout a year before the site went down). well, things have changed since then. i can now afford to buy a computer and run a few online games on it, and was wondering whether planetside is still as active as it used to be? if not, how would you rate the activity? if there's hardly anyone playing, i don't think i'll get it.

There is something called the Planetside Reserves, it's been going on since March of this year... what is it? It's the chance for anybody to play Planetside for free for 1 year duration since the beginning of the Reserves, albeit with limitations (you cap at battlerank 6 and command rank 2). BUT, the Planetside Reserves has been considered a success by SOE to bring people to Planetside and fill the servers - continental locks are something common on all three Planetside Servers, so you can bet your ass that something's going on! :thumbsup:

Yea, Reserves had been awesome for the game. It really has made a idfference.

What do you mean? Currently SOE has decided to put everything on the same level, meaning all players have access to all areas, and the Reserves as well, so you're able to see playes fighting everywhere I guess, even in the caves, although I personally don't like caves and I also think that the majority of players likes to fight on the surface... That also means that all pay-account players have the possibility to earn access to Core weapons and also the BFR... Reserves players have the possibility to earn access to Core weapons but cannot earn the imprint to be able to pilot BFRs.
