When your playing then you log off in the middle of no where. Where do you start when you log back in?

Pretty sure you spawn at whatever base you were closest to, or what you were bound to.

im assuming this will be like other mmog's, where you start the last place you logged off. Either that...or you might start at your respawn point.

It would be cool to spawn in one of the drop pods so you could chose where you started when you logged in. I bet you would log back in at your sactuary or where you logged off from.

I thought you came back to life where you logged off. Unless you were in a SoI, and if it had changed influence while you were off you would come back on just outside of it.

Everyong remember camping in EQ? ill bet theres some device that takes 30seconds to store yourself and inventory and send that back to your sanctuary. So logging in will be like respawning after death.
I doubt they will have log in the place where you logged off. If that was the case id get a lvl 6 advanced hacker with stealth and camp him next to the most conflicted base console. And i came up with that after only 4 seconds of thought. Imagine what the person really thinking about this could do?

Hellsfire, that's what I said. You COULD log off in a base that was continually fought over, but when you logged back on, if the didn't belong to your empire, you would spawn outside the sphere of influence.

Then people would do it all the time instead of walking home...

They would log off and come back in instead of walking home?
I am fairly certain this is how it works, because spawning you where you left off is different in an FPS than in a RPG. ie, you could spawn outside an enemy base? solo? with standard armor?
I don't see that happening. I could be wrong however, I didn't logoff too many times back when I played. So I don't recall.
Hopefully a dev will come by and address the issue :D

Maybe there are "Log off Terminals" at every base :D and you come back in at the nearest "log in terminal" contolled by your empire.

I think that you prob come back at your last spawn pt, but if that pt has gone away, you come back at the sanctuary. Or perhaps every time you log-on your at the sanctuary.

Someone has been playing with natural logs lately.....
Anyhow, I could understand why you don't spawn back outside your sphere of influence, but spawning back at your last spawn point sounds like a system waiting to be exploited to me.

That is why i think that it might be that every time you log-in you spawn at your sanctuary. It would even the playing field, and let you get some stuff b4 battle.
