I am in the mood to rent some movies, old or new, to cure my boredom. What are some good ones?

I thought Waking Life was amazing but it might not be your cup of tea. It deals with Lucid Dreaming, and it contains some pretty out there dialog, also keeping in mind that the movie is all about the dialog. You really have to pay attention. Other than that, I've no idea.

Speaking of a movie with dialog. V For Vendetta was one of the very few "main stream" movies these days with good dialog. Give that a try. :)

There's a documentary out called "Why We Fight." It's about the Iraq war and the U.S. involvement. It's really good.

War Movies:
Saving Private Ryan
Band of Brothers (Series)
Saints and Soliders
The Great Raid
Black Hawk Down
Apocalypse Now
Enemy at the Gates
We were Soldiers
Over There (Series)
The Downfall, A foreign film entirely in german. About the last two weeks of the Third Reich. The most accurate World War II movie that ive ever seen, with respect to the subject matter at hand.
The Pianist, more of a drama but definatley deserves to be seen.

Bio, do you watch anything that doesn't involve a war?
I just got done watching, Green Street Hooligans. I'm too tired to write what it's about so here's a Copy and Paste from Netflix:
Drawn into the center of a bogus drug scandal by his wealthy roommate, a high-achieving Harvard newspaper editor (Elijah Wood) is kicked out of school just a few months shy of getting his degree. With nowhere else to go, he flies to the United Kingdom to live with his sister (Claire Forlani) and her family. But his subsequent involvement with the local Green Street Elite -- a gang of violent soccer fans -- could change his life forever.
It's a movie that was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. A part near the end there even got me choked up a bit. No, it's not gay porn...
