Interesting indeed.
I think the whole thing is a fucking mess, no matter which side of the story you look it from it's bad news

I think the Mark Twain quote pretty much hits it on the head. The media sucks, it always has, it very likely always will. It doesn't surprise me that much, they've all shown their blatant disregard for truth many times.

Let me say this: The photoshop job was atrocious, and who cares if there is actually less smoke coming from a specific source? It's not like the amount of smoke produced by a burning structure has any sort of correlation to people being killed, or even the amount of destruction a fire causes. Some treatment processes for wood might affect how much smoke it would give off when burned. My point? It's fucking smoke, who gives a shit?

Why?
Because its fabricating evidence to support your claim.
They lied, and because of their lie they sought possibly political/monetary benefits because of that.
And if you don't see anything wrong with that this world is really going to hell.

I dont see why such a shit storm is stirred up about a little bit of photoshopped smoke. The smoke was already there, what difference does it make in the amount of smoke? The guy was dumb for photoshopping it, but anyone who can't clearly see that is a photoshop job is also pretty dumb.

There are way more then just that one picture. In the case of the smoke, the photoshop job makes the damage look far worse then it really is. In every single picture the editing and lieing is making israel look bad in the public eye. It is exagerating their wrong doings.

I disagree. The damage doesnt look any worse with more smoke. Israel already looks bad in the public eye, extra smoke isnt going to make that much of a difference. I'm not defending the editing.

More damage=more smoke. And there are other pics that are obviously edited/exagerated. Most of what I hear against israel on the news I later find out is false or exagerated. It is my opinion that they are doing the right thing. Hezbola has been throwing rockets and bombing the crap out of their cities for years. Whos to say they can't defend themselves?

I already stated why more smoke doesn't mean more damage, so I wont explaint it again. What Israel is doing is going way beyond "defense", they are boming civilian centres, not just military outposts. Hezbollah was formed in 1982 when Israel invaded Lebannon for the second time, Hezbollah's cause was to drive Israel out. This is what happens when you invade a country, Israel should have learned their lesson, but they just invaded again, meaning the Lebanese people have another reason to hate Israel, not something that is gonna help their security. Israel is being stupid, and ignoring history.

Light a match and you get a small amount of smoke. Burn down a house and you get quite a bit of smoke. Burn down a town down and the sky is blackened. Your stupid if you think that more smoke does not mean more damage.
And what should Isreal do? Sit there and watch while their civilians are slaughtered day after day in terrorist attacks and bombings?

You are missing the point entirely. Their military campaign is not making their citizens any safer, in fact it is putting them in a greater danger. The only feasible way to make their country safer is through negotiations. Sharon had the right idea, he was doing good for Israel, but then he had a stroke. I am not going to argue about the smoke thing anymore, because when you say "your stupid" as a point in argument it means you have no idea what you are talking about.

Derfud youre not to bright...
You go as far as saying that because Israel is being attacked that they should negotiate that it stop? When I've been watching on the news that hey! After they pulled out of lebanon hezbollah kept attacking them.. ahah what was I thinking.

I do know what I am talking about. Negotiations have been tried, over and over again. These people want to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. There is no negotiating with that.
What I truly do not understand is this. The Arab countries around Israel and Hezbola have been killing Israel's civilians and blowing up civilian buildings daily in Israel for years... intentionally none the less. Now Israel goes in to the surrounding countries with the intent (very important) of killing the terrorists that were harming them. They miss a few times, kill a few civilians (its impossible to wage war with out killing a few unfortunately). Why are people enraged with Israel? They are trying to kill who is harming them unlike the terrorists who are trying to kill civilians. Where is the anger towards the Arab countries? It seems like a double standard to me. "Oh sure terrorists blow up civilians all the time thats cool. What?! Israel missed and accidentaly killed some civilians? OMGWTFH4X!!!1!1111!!!"

Israel initiated the campaign by invading Lebannon, they are occupying parts of the country. Maybe you don't understand, but that means that they are definitely in a position to negotiate. Israel didn't need to initiate a huge military campaign that caused so much collateral damage. They have plenty of other resources at their disposal (Mossad). Which could probably have done a better job at dealing with terrorists than "strategic" air strikes.
Don't attack me, attack my points. If you truly think I am stupid, then I feel sorry for you.

Not attacking you but Israel did not start this war. The Hezbhollah Kidnapped two IDF soldiers, on Israeli territory. Seeing as Hezbollah controls the lebanese military, that is considered an act of war. so technically, It wasn't Israel. Israel responded.

You are quite wrong, Hezbollah is a separate entite from the Lebanese military, look it up.

You can also look up that hezbollah controls the lebanese government. the lebanese military isn't anything. they are put together just to say they have an army. hezbollah basically IS the army. but yes, back on topic.
There had been a lot of fraud in the media, when it comes to Israel and ****. Reuter's is notorious for it. BBC and The guardian (two giant media's in England) are also bad when it comes to this type of bias. Most of the information they will show, is usually false, and it has no factual backing at all.
