I just got a job at The Brick.
It's a furniture/electronics store and I'm a Salesman in the electronics departement. The salary is commissions only and for the first month I'm in formationat minimum wage. After that it's said that I can gain anywhere from 27000$ per year to 90000$ depending on my sales figures.
WOO! First real job that actually pays good and has a real formation rather then "Here's the computer... here's your spot... hmmm just wing it really because we can't afford to train you properly!"
Anyone have any tips on being a weasel.... errr salesman?

I loved that movie. When you know the history between Ontario in Quebec it's so fucking hilarious... if your bilingual... the movie is non stop laughter.
Anyways, why would you hate me Hamma-poo :(! The money I make? Don't forget it's in Canadian dollars...

It has sub-titles... it's gonna be funny at some point but some of the finer points you won't find as hilarious as alot of us Quebec people! :p

First you have to convince me why I should even consider going to the brick for electronics. I wouldn't even buy furniture there.

Nah it's a city outside of Ottawa in Quebec. About what? 20 minutes away if there's no real traffic...

Well first off, the salesman are trained in their departement and they do know what they are talking about. In most chain stores like future shop they hire somebody with basic knowledge about the domain they will work in and they learn along the way.
Second, the service. The number one priority I was told was to help the client as best as you can and then offer help after the purchase also. If your having troubles with connections etc. I can help, so can my partners.
Third, you'd be making me some money! :p
Fourth, we have the best financing plans around.

I think we can go up to 4 year with X% interest but on some things we have plans for 2 year financing (with little to no interest) or without any payment due to the large size of the company.
