It's a Documentary, from Al Gore about Global Warming. If it makes this dumb redneck think about trading in his truck for a lil Toyota, then maybe some others will like it.

Here's some trailers, if you don't have anything to do one day, just check it out.

As much of a blowhard as Gore is, as much as he ODs stories (the whole "I invented the internet" thing), the guy financed/put together quite an interesting story.

The funny thing is... it's not wildly popular as a conversation piece among politicos, because of the simple fact that it present documented scientific evidence and rational thought, that is pretty much irrefutable. Nobody can condemn it as being paranoid conspiracy-theory-eque wonky garbage, because it doesn't pick a side.

Score one for Gore. I'm actually impressed.

"And I have an inconvenient truth for you, Al Gore, you're still not president."
-Stephen Colbert

Anyway, I haven't seen it, but I would like to. I find the arguments quite enjoyable.

As soon as they build comfortable cars that I can fit into AND able to bring the family with on a vacation, then I might be interested.

Til then I'll take my new SUV and chug gas like I pay 25 cents.

Not if you really believe it is worth seeing.

Unfortunately most of the pollution comes from industrial operations, cars dont contribute to global warming as much as you might think. So even if everyone got an electric car we would still be polluting like hell.

That's why it will never get better. If someone know's the only difference they can make is a small fraction, they won't act. So it only get's worse.
