:usa: :usa:

This morning my favorite radio station read off the names of everyone who passed. As a thread sub topic: where were you?

I was at work at the last High School I worked at. Was doing my morning whoring session, catching up on overnight stuff when my mom called me and said a plane had hit the tower. At the time they had figured it was just a cessna or something, so I loaded up CNN and thought not much of it at the time. Then she called me and informed me another had hit, live on TV :ugh: Knew right then we had a big problem on our hands..

I spent the day huddled around a TV in the Maintenance office with some teachers, and staff, as that was one of the few working TVs

I was in Highschool, in my english class when one of my class mates came in late and told everybody that the Pentagon was on fire. I was like "yeah right! the pentagon's like invincible!".

When I was walking home for lunch some guy had the radio in his car blaring as he drove by me and all I heard was "The pentagon is still burning" and I was like "holy shit!" and I ran home to watch the news and thats when I first saw the news about the towers.

I was at home, couldn't believe when I got an SMS saying that a plane had crashed into a WTC tower, then curiosity got the rest of me and I spent the rest of the day glued to CNN on TV.

I was at my appartment north of manhattan, saw the first plane hit I spent the day with a handheld radio wading through the traffic and people trying to get to the area. I was about an hour away when the first building colapsed. Spent the day helping people at the hospital by running transfusion kits and random supplys around.

I was at school. Additionally, my aunt was driving down the highway next to the Pentagon when the plane hit that.

Waking up- Dad called me from my room and told me to watch the TV. I didnt really know what was going on at first, but when I heard what was going on it sucked. My dad has a lot of friends in FDNY, so it was a little more personal for him :(.

I was in bed, sleeping.

Same, sort of. I was sleeping on my sister's couch. She was watching the news in the same room. I was awake by the time the second one hit.
