Heh, yu could've put the other question in the one thread but yes, they do have a recoil. I like that in games now. Adds alot IMO for gameplay and overall skill needed to aim. Not sre about bobing though. Probably be the sniper only then but then again...Not sure..DOn't think so

i think some weapons have bobing. in a few of the videos ive seen the larger machine guns seem to swing all over the place... i could be wrong though, the guy controling the gun might just have crappy aim.

I'm pretty sure just about all of the recoil is acounted for in the CoF.

Recoil is accounted for in the CoF (cone of fire). Weapons bob a little bit in the running animations, but this is purely for show.

It's all about the CoF.

I think it adds for realism without totally screwing your aim up.

It would stink to have every other bullet go way up in the air because of the "bobbing". The CoF is a good system. If you move, shoot, etc. the CoF will grow bigger. Sitting still will make it shrink.

also some weapons will have more recoil than others. Vanu weapons being energy will have less recoil making it easier to shoot. Terran will have more recoil than vanu because there weapons are based on many low damaging shots. NC will have the most otherwise that gause is way too good (ranked high in all attributes).

The crosshair will also enlarge while running and jumping.
