Would be better if you could take off from the ground though. Launching yourself from an airplane sort of defeats the purpose of being able to 'fly like a bird'. Don't get me wrong, I like the concept, it just needs to be tweeked before I go out and buy one.

Of course, mine would have mini missiles and a rail gun attached to it.

Actually at the end of that vid it says they're working on a prototype that has vertical take-off ability among other things.
