units are cloaked if they are within the AMS's SOI. is it possible to setup AMS's so that their SOI overlap? in that way, you can easily slip in and out of different SOI's. think of the primary color circles... i can imagine all sorts of bizaare manuvers with this configuration.

I believe the area of the cloaking effect is small so you would need many AMS. :D

But yes, you could do that.

I'm pretty sure that the AMS itself is the only thing that's cloaked.

I recall a dev story about watching an enemy access a terminal "that wasn't there" or something like that, I think they changed armors. This was from a while ago, and may have changed, but I doubt it.

Seeing enemies decloak while wearing non-infiltration suits would be equally revealing, I would imagine.

NOTE TO SELF: Hide that AMS. Cloaking alone isn't going to be enough.

Yup, being in the AMS's radius will not cloak you, Napalm is right, the AMS is the only thing that is cloaked

Props to Gyddyn for the tiny sig, i love it. It's a refreshing change from the usual 400x300 sig. :p

If you're organizing a big assault, will you try to get your AMS(es) in first, or bring them forward from the rear once the fighting starts? Both, neither?

Some one tell me what is a AMS, it sounds like either a jammer or a cloak.
