"you can load an AMP into the back of a Galaxy and do a precision airdrop into a complex, but you better do it right or youll hit a wall and well, thats a big boom. (chuckle)"

He meant ANT, that's what he was talking about for the last paragraph, and I don't think your pistols can be loaded independantly or are explosive.

Anywho, this could open up new strategies, especially if they have good momentum physics. Bail out of an ANT as you aim it full-speed at a base gate, hope an AV MAX doesn't spot it before it goes through enough to cause some casualties. Hell, it also has the element of surprise. Would YOU be expecting it?

the thought crossed my mind too. a giant bomb on wheels. probably would be hard to precision drop one though. so the best bet is to load up like 15 galaxys and bombard the place.

that's so cool. I hope its like a huge explosion or something along those lines. KAMIKAZEE cars :D

thats sweet i hope it doesnt get over poplular due to being really easy to pull off or something but I dont think any one strategy will be over used as so many are available in this game. Im most looking forward to seeing a head on attack with like 1000 troops can u imagine all the bullets flying? Its gonna be sooo damn fun but i have the feeling its gonna be hard to stay alive very long like that.

Will be harder against Vanu or Conglomerate, because of fly-by-wire Phoenix and semi-sniper capabilities of the Lancer/mag implant.

Because they will shoot them out of the sky?

Anyway if this is posible does that mean that vehicles have kinetic dampers too? - Since the ANT have a chance of survival.

Ground or (not sure about Phoenix here) air, if you or your squaddies can't hit 'em, back to boot camp.

lol, hack an ANT and kamakazi behind enemy lines lol

I highly doubt the ANT will have any larger of an explosion than most other vehicles. I think he was just sort of joking around saying that if you drop the ANT from a galaxy and it hits a wall it blows up, just like any other vehicle would.

It's probably going to follow a pattern: the larger the vehicle, the larger the explosion. Galaxies probably have the largest explosion in the game, followed by Sunderer, then AMS, etc. The ANT probably has the same sized explosion as a Lightning or so...

the hacking idea may have one draw back. The ANT probably has to be charged and full of energy from the warp gate to cause the big boom.

hey! i came up with this first lol. I wasnt using ANTs, i was using buggies. Look back a bit it was there.

ANTs move pretty slow and aren't well armored though, so you'll probably have to be lucky to be able to drive one in.

Kevin, he said use them like bombs. Drop them out of a galaxy into walls to make them explode.

That sounds a lot like driving to me. Anyways, if it was airborne, you would have to bail, which would take a few seconds, then wait for the dampners to kick in, another few seconds. You would have needed to be flying pretty high for that.

Exactly. Hopefully vehicles don't get kinetic dampeners, but if they do, no big deal. Just ram a wall or get out, throw three plasma 'nades into it just to be sure, and run like hell. Meanwhile, the Galaxy drops its load of infantry and MAXs 10-15 seconds after the ANT drops (into the same spot, of course), and they mop up. Maybe even a grid formation of 3x3 or larger of Galaxies for carpet bombing/massive defense breach combo. Would probably take cooperation of several outfits, high altitiude flying, and large escort of Skeeters/Reavers.
