You know thats bs right. Night Vision my ass. Look at how blurred the shot is, and it is standing still. Bet the liars took a shot of MechAssault, and then blurred it.

Would be cool if there were real mechs though.

Maybe you posted this as a joke...never can tell with ABRAX:D

The closest real life thing I've seen to this is a man sized robot that can walk on it's own, and even down stairs.

Also, a company in the US made a van into a robot that can drive it's self on streets with other cars and stuff. They drove across the US with the computer driving ~70% of the time.

Oxo-Skeletons aren't robots but an armor designed to strengthen people, most likely soldiers. Also, real Mechs are a little unconventional and probably would hve more weakness that are easily exploited than a tank and would be very expensive

Mechs can exist right now anyway.... I can't go into details cuz it directly relates to my job..... suffice to say... that a well known robotics company subcontracted by the company I work for is having a hard time getting a fully remote control detection vehicle to work properly.

Even if they were actual and a reality; we need them why?

We need them because how else are we supposed to survive hand-to-hand combat with an invasion force of 50 feet tall biped aliens?

I hope your joking, but you bring up a good point; which is what if another power develops them and then uses them against us. Fight fire with fire? I guess. Or you could have one lone sniper paint the target for a SMART bomb release.

Sixty feet tall vs. six feet; camoflauged. Hard to see, especially in the stalking position.

Ten minutes later. No more "mech assualt vechicle."

That is, of course, you attack before their deployment. Once on the move...you'd better hope you're tanks have enough stopping power.

My two cents.
