Basic stock Char, or choosable?

From the SS and what little I garnered from the FAQ, It seems to me there are:

A: The same basic model for everyone, maybe a few differences...

B: No females....

I guess this si to save on Polycount but thats odd IMHO.

I assume there will be more variety than what you currently see in the screenies available...

A female selection will probably be a staple (can't have those feminist groups suing now can we?)

And more variety for the character (facial features) is probably going to happen as well... though the only time you might get to see them is in your home base... but who knows... other than the Devs(they're not talking)?

I would have thought that this person (http://www.planetside-universe.com/images/screenshots/20071.jpg) looks remarkable female.

There are a few more females here (http://www.planetside-universe.com/images/screenshots/20039.jpg), here (http://www.planetside-universe.com/images/screenshots/20016.jpg) and here (http://www.planetside-universe.com/images/screenshots/20045.jpg) unless my eyes decieve me.

The discussions relating to what our characters will look like are all over these boards, the Player Persistence (http://www.planetside-universe.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=163) thread relates to it directly. We're just not sure how it's going to come out, we'll find out somehow. :)

in the screenies, all the chars seem to have the same face. Those are still a few motnhs old, and the art team is probaly working on making the other stuff look nice before the faces. There will be female models. If there arnt.... well there will be.
