i believe there was an "other" category right?(or was that for sound cards etc.)
and plus your DXdiag should include your vid card.
I wouldn't worry about it if i were you.
maybe im wrong?

You're are fine calm down, I put GeForce 4 Ti4600 cause that is the card I have in my computer, but the computer I signed up on only has a GeForce 2 in it, but they will realize that my Diag is not the computer I will have in 2 days as soon as I get everything installed on it.

Guys, they are taking 20,000 people, I doubt they truly give a damn.

depends on how many people sign up.

I doubt they will even look at anything if more then 20,000 sign up. They will just randomly select. They want to get a huge cross-section anyhow. This is a test of full compatability.
The only thing I would imagine excluding you is running a non-supported OS, or working for a company they don't want to allow in.

Chances are if you signed up for open beta, and your specs are a little below the min reqs you might actually get in, because they want to see if your computer can handle it.

cool, although mine only meet about half of what they would want. (500MHz instead of 1GHz, etc.)

Just noticed something. Although I don't know the exact number, there aren't going to be 20,000 people accepted yet. That is for the open beta.

..this is for open beta
and wow im glad i went through that terms and agreement. they have checkpoints that ur supposed to check throughout to filter ppl who just fly right to the bottom and slam on 'accept'
btw i feel like i am getting in since i have a very nice computer. i had to do (model or higher) for like every one :)

I'm glad it's open beta...that means the game is closer to coming out instead of another closed beta.

No. NO NO NO NO NO! This is -not- exclusively for open beta, unless they plan on having only a SINGLE restricted beta phase, which I -highly- doubt. (Though since they're doing external beta so late in the process, the chance that there's only one phase to the restricted beta is a bit higher.)
This is for any and all future beta openings, both closed and open. Unless you just selected Open Beta on your app, at which point you'll only be getting the chance at open beta.

No, applying in November made you elligible for closed beta, they stated they wouldn't let new applicants in till open beta.

Then why was there a choice between closed beta and open beta?
No, the new applicants for closed beta will probably be applying for the last stages of closed beta, and then moved over to the open beta part.

No, it is called they reused the exact same app as before. That is also why you couldn't find any of the new model video cards on the app, as it is the same one. Dave covered the fact that new apps is ONLY for open beta weeks ago.
