Well we all figured prominent names would somehow make it into Beta, and Mars is a prominent name. It could be luck, or it could have been chosen, either way it doesn't matter. We will all be playing soon, and Mars has done plenty of hard work for the community to have earned MORE work (which early beta is) if he was chosen.

Or it was total coincidence anyhow.

Either way, who cares, we'll all be playing in a month or two.

Ok - well since Briley sorta spilled the beans - here's the scoop:
Press was handled differently. Hamma was passed the info via his channels. We haven't and still didn't get an email yet. They were expected to arrive later. However, our accounts were active on the beta site. Briley saw my hello post, you know the rest. SOE was generous enough to extend more than one press account to PSU - and that's how I am in beta.
