A simple Q

No one is talking and I'm bored, so I'm just going to ask a question to liven things up. ;) If someone fires a rocket, can I shoot it in midair and cause it to exlpode?

would be unfair. someone with good depth perception could take out groups of people but maybe they'll add it later in patch/expansion.

I've heard that it is possible, however unlikely it is. From what I heard you have to be realy freaking Uber 1337 to do it simi-reliably.

probably the only way to do it is to get in an anchored TR MAX and fire like crazy. That or take a sniper rifle and nail the sucka.

Shooting down rockets would be lame, esp for the NC and their phoenix.. have a clamped down a TR AI MAX and hose them down whit bullets til they explode... leap frogging invards whit clamped down MAX's would render the NC missiles much less effective, esp whit some semi skilled MAXs.

Oh sure, it's not fair to be able to shoot down a pheonix, but it's fair for someone to put a camera on it and fly the sucker right up my ass like some military proctologist. Them pheonix missles better have a fuel gauge, so if I manage to dodge one, it can't just follow me forever. Hmmmm, that's another good question right there...

The armor on the missiles is considerable. They are meant to penetrate a little bit, and then explode. I don't think a few bullets will do anything besides ding it up, and put it off course a few centimeters. Also, even if you did shoot the Phoenix off course, the person that fired the phoenix could just glide it back straight. So, in conclusion, NC ANTIVEHICLE 0WNZ0RS U ALL!

All weapons have a Max Range. Bullets and lasers just poof, not sure if rockets explode or go into the ground and explode at max range, but you can just run away.....
